How we verify availability

The daily check

Every morning, an automated pipeline checks each title we track against Amazon's own public Prime Video listings — the same pages you'd see as a shopper in the US. Each title is classified into one of four states: included with Prime, free with ads, available via a channel add-on, or rent/buy only. When a listing carries a “leaving soon” notice, we record the exact date Amazon displays and re-confirm it on every subsequent check, because those dates drift.

What the dates on this site mean

Title pages lead with a dated verdict — “As of July 22, 2026…” — and that date is the honest one: the most recent morning the title was actually re-checked, not the day the page was built. Leaving dates are the dates Amazon itself displayed, treated as the last full day to watch. Arrival dates come from two sources: Amazon's official monthly announcements (for premiere dates) and our own scan spotting a title newly streamable in the catalog.

Metadata and ratings

Posters, synopses, cast, and viewer ratings come from TMDB. Ranked lists (the “best of” pages) sort by TMDB viewer rating with a minimum vote count, filtered to titles verified as included with Prime on the morning check — editorial taste never overrides the data.

What we don't claim

We track the US catalog; other regions differ. We track a curated and growing subset of the full Prime storefront — priority goes to titles people actually search for and titles in motion (arriving, leaving, changing state). Amazon can change anything without notice; a verdict is a same-day snapshot, not a promise about tomorrow. When we get something wrong, tell us and the next morning's check will settle it.

Independence

Still Streaming is not affiliated with Amazon. Outbound watch links use Amazon Associates affiliate tags (disclosure), which never influence what the data says — the pipeline flags departures and downgrades with exactly the same enthusiasm as arrivals.
